Scab For Hire…

Is a political comedy/drama play that follows a man who accidentally crosses a picket-line. Once he starts work in the factory, he befriends an opossum living inside the warehouse. The scab must decide whether he wants to keep his job or save his new friend. Wesley wrote and developed the play that has been performed in multiple venues. The piece won 2nd place at the graduate research conference at Western Illinois University, was performed as part of BYOP at WIU, was featured in Opposites Attract with Mia Martinez, and most recently Mia and Wes performed a staged reading of an extended version of the show that will go on tour this summer.
